Daniel Head

Chief Executive Officer

Daniel has 28 years’ experience leading high-growth teams in various technology sectors, industries and geographies. And in 2021, he led Braze as CRO from Series-B startup to IPO. He’s a thought leader in AI/MarTech and the ways data, technology, and creativity serve brand strategy. Now based in London – and devoted to family, the arts, and water-based sport – it was his time at Coventry University as a Manufacturing System Engineer and subsequent experience in manufacturing that inspired his belief that AI could be as transformative to marketers as robots have been to the automotive industry.

Dee Patel

Chief Financial Officer

With 25+ years’ experience leading financial operations, Dee has a proven track record in strategic planning, reporting and business transformation at start-ups and global enterprises. As a qualified Chartered Accountant with a first-class honours degree in Economics, she’s served as CFO for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, Fandango, and Amplica Labs. Dee lives in London with her partner and daughter. And in her free time, she enjoys dining out and going to the gym (to offset the dining out).

Jasper Pye

Chief Technology Officer

Jasper is a passionate product and technology leader with 15+ years’ experience across Product Management, Design, UX, and Brand. As a founding member of Jacquard, he’s become a true specialist in Generative AI – co-responsible for product strategy and leading product design, engineering and delivery. Born in Adelaide, Australia but now a long-time Londoner, Jasper can often be found escaping to Italy with wife Elisa and watching bands you’ve probably never heard of.

Toby Coulthard

Chief Product Officer

With experience at Salesforce, IBM, and Braze – which he helped to take from startup to IPO – and an academic background in Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnology, Toby loves to operate at the interface between Technology and Go-to-Market. This work is further empowered by a keen understanding of customer needs and Generative AI. Originally from the UK, but now based in New York with his partner Hannah, Toby enjoys spending free time sailing the Long Island Sound with his dog, Pickle.

Neil Yager

Chief Data Scientist

A 20-year veteran of the tech industry, Neil Yager, PhD is an expert in the commercialization of AI. He has worked in various roles for prominent innovative and forward-thinking technology companies, including Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CiSRA), BT Imaging, and Biometix. He has written over a dozen academic publications, authored a book on data mining, and holds several patents. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Australia, and in 2009, Neil was awarded the Malcolm Chaikin Prize for Research Excellence in Engineering, a prestigious innovation award.

Marissa Aydlett

Marissa has a proven record in bringing new brand strategies and positioning to market. She helped to guide Braze through a corporate rename and drove a 22.5% increase in familiarity among purchase decision makers in just 12 months – securing her place on Advertising Age’s 25 Marketing Technology Trailblazers 2017. She also brought her strategic expertise to Quartz, Condé Nast, and Salesforce. A graduate of the University of Michigan’s Executive MBA programme, Marissa lives in Michigan with her husband Charles and their two children.
