Possibleness
WONDERMENT Ideas
Simpler 101
The titles connote the inter-relationship. Some entries are ideas, some are how to's or places to find more. Most ideas are examined on more than one blog with a complementary approach.
All three are Optimism focused.
Fabulous advancements are occurring now, in the near future and in the next 20 years. If a small percentage of the coming ideas occur there will be enough commercial opportunities for the US, Canada and Mexico. This Blog comments on major opportunities and asks the question … How are we going to participate? There are major issues and negative headlines that need to be and can be solved; defining the future of the American workforce, infrastructure needs, competitiveness and world competition. What is the role of Government versus Private Investment?
"POSSIBLENESS" focuses on both the BIG IDEAS that will be practical in 2020 (only 9 years away!) and those being deployed now and in the next 2 years. There is a clear opportunity for America to be a vital part of this. Together, we have to figure out how to ensure it happens.

The Cuban medical system may be better than the American medical system. Of course we may have technology on our side, but is it the answer?
Cuba has demonstrated some remarkable skills to achieve these results:

"No Park redefines “no parking zone” — mostly those associated fire hydrant placement — to low growth mosses and grasses. These micro engineered green spaces prevent storm water runoff, use foliage to stabilize the soil, and to provide a durable low maintenance surface cover. "

The Indian "People's Car, built by TATA Motors in India, was initially designed to sell for $2,000 to$2,500. While over 10,000 are sold, it has run into various problems as outlined in the attached article.
A brave idea. What do you think?
Monday, April 25, 2011 at 7:44PM The doubling of capacity, halving price every 18 months is GRAPHENE, a form of carbon in which the atoms form a flat sheet just one atom thick. http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2011/graphene-solar-0106.html
Rice University has made recent discoveries that bring this into production. http://io9.com/#!5773631/making-nanomaterials-just-got-a-lot-easier
It also will be applied in energy for batteries and solar cells.
